No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars

No-Bake Peanut Butter BarsIngredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 tablespoons peanut butter
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, melted butter, and 1 cup of peanut butter. Stir until everything is well mixed and forms a thick, smooth mixture.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9×13-inch baking dish. Use the back of a spoon or spatula to smooth it out.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate chips and the remaining 4 tablespoons of peanut butter. Microwave on high in 15-second intervals, stirring each time, until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the crust and spread it evenly to cover the entire surface.
- Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
- Once set, cut into 12 squares and serve.
