The Best No-Carb Cloud Bread with Only 4 Ingredients
Ingredients
- 3 eggs, separated
- 3 Tablespoons cream cheese (Room temp)
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- Optional: 1 Tablespoon Honey or some natural sweetener, salt, garlic powder, rosemary
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150 degrees Celsius)
- Separate the eggs – there must be no yolk in the white.
- Mix the egg yolks, cream cheese, and sweetener in one bowl until the mixture is smooth, and set aside.
- In a second bowl, add ¼ teaspoon of baking powder to the egg whites and beat them on high speed until they’re fluffy. It usually takes about 6 minutes to reach the desired texture using an electric mixer (I’ve been using the Hamilton Beach hand mixer and Hamilton Beach mini stand mixer).
- Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites and mix – you don’t want to break the fluffiness, so please be extra careful.
- Spoon the mixture into 10-12 even rounds onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with rosemary and your favorite spices and put it in the oven. Do it as quickly as possible, or the mixture might start melting.
- Bake for 17-20 minutes on the middle rack.
- Broil (cook the top) for 1 minute and watch your cloud bread as it becomes golden brown. Keep an eye on it so it won’t burn.
- Remove it from the oven and enjoy it on the spot!
